Welcome to Our Gideon Missionary Movement (GMM)
The Gideon Missionary Movement is a significant vision bestowed by the Lord. It is a visionary movement to proclaim the gospel of Christ in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
In 2020, when Bro. Arul Stephenson was fasting for many days at the feet of the Lord during the Corona period, the Lord gave him this vision. The Lord showed him the state of Madhya Pradesh in the vision and inspired him to create missionaries there and preach the gospel.
After sharing the vision of the Lord with his mother, Annathai Rajapandian, and All India All Night Prayer Fellowship President, Bro. Chandran, Ottanchathram, and confirming this vision, we, as servants of God, visited many parts of Madhya Pradesh in January 2021 and were heartbroken to see the situation there. Many do not even know who Jesus Christ is.
We confirmed the vision given by the Lord. We waited at the feet of the Lord for many months. By the abundant grace and mercy of the Lord, on November 27, 2021, the Gideon Missionary Movement (GMM) was prayerfully dedicated and launched by the founder of Jesus Redeems ministry, Bro. Mohan C. Lazarus.
Purpose
The aim is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the 8.5 crore people of Madhya Pradesh, the heartland of India, and to create prayer warriors for the Lord's army by sharing the love of Christ.
The main objective of the gospel is to proclaim Christ to those who know Him. Out of the 8.9 crore people in the state of Madhya Pradesh, only 0.29% have accepted the Lord. The mission of the Indian Church is to share the missionary burden with the people and, according to Mark 16:15, to proclaim Christ to the people of Madhya Pradesh who do not know Him, in accordance with the mandate: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature!
Objective:
The main task is to raise 428 indigenous missionaries in 428 talukas in 55 districts of the state of Madhya Pradesh and carry out missionary work.
To provide self-employment training in various fields, including sewing, computer skills, electrical work, and electronics, for the youth from families who wish to experience the love of Christ and demonstrate the Lord's compassion. [No colleges will be established, nor will any buildings be constructed for vocational training purposes for the youth.
Churches
To establish and strengthen churches to guide the souls won by the grace of the Lord through missionary efforts.
It is about praying for the people, preaching the gospel and guiding the people below the poverty line, based on the verse that the good news is proclaimed to the poor (Matthew 11:5).
Contribution
Prayer is the foundation of our Christian ministries. Therefore, you should transform yourself into prayer partners and pray daily for the Gideon Missionary Movement. You can take on the responsibility of being a prayer partner, recruit prayer warriors, start prayer groups, and support the ministry through prayer.
Strengthen our hands as we carry out the work of the Gideon Missionary Movement, based on the verse, 'And they said, "Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.' (Nehemiah 2:18).
Since the Lord has blessed you abundantly, you can willingly support the GMM ministries. But we expect more from a sacrificial offering. If you send a monthly offering with sacrifice, by skipping food once a month, reducing household expenses for one day, or reducing any of your daily expenses, we will gladly accept it. The Lord will give a great harvest in the state of Madhya Pradesh for this sacrificial offering. He will put the account of the harvest of souls on your crown. And the Lord will bless you, your family and the labour of your hands abundantly.
You can participate in this ministry as a volunteer, part-time, or full-time worker and help with the ministry. If the Lord gives you a special invitation for missionary work and gives you the burden of serving in the state of Madhya Pradesh, you too can join us in the work of the vineyard.
