Welcome to Our Prayer Warrior Camp
In 1972, the All Night Prayer, focused on the revival of the nation, was started in Chennai by the late Bro Abraham Rajapandian, Dr D.G.S. Dhinakaran, Dr Jeevanandham, Rev. Devadasan (author of Varugayin Thoothan), and many other servants of God. Within a few years, the heavenly fire of the Spirit was poured out in Chennai during the All Night Prayers, and the number of prayer warriors grew to more than 5000.
To allow the grace of the Holy Spirit, which had been poured out in Chennai, to be extended to all cities, the aforementioned servants of God sought the Lord's guidance. While they waited for His direction, they committed themselves to prayer in preparation for a prayer camp in a city designated by the Lord, scheduled for January 25 and 26, as well as August 14 and 15.
It was determined that the First day of the prayer warrior camp would go from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m. and a tea break from 5 to 5.30 p.m. on the Second day, followed by evangelism throughout the local area from 5 to 8 a.m. and a fasting prayer without drinking water from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a time of rest between 5 and 9 p.m. On the second day night, an all-night prayer will be held from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following day.
Accordingly, on 26 January 1976, the first Prayer Warrior Camp was held in Kanyakumari, the tip of India. The second Prayer Warrior Camp was held in Madurai. The camps were continuously held in cities like New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, Cochin, Kashi, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Mumbai, Kolkata, Andaman, Mysore, Goa, Mangalore, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Coimbatore, Chennai, Vellore, Salem, Thiruvalla and Nellore, and recently, on January 25th and 26th, the 93rd Prayer Warrior Camp was held in Arakkonam.
The Prayer Warrior Camp is non-partisan. All church believers who have accepted the Lord as their personal Saviour can participate in this camp. Lunch and dinner will be provided on the first day. Food will be served after the fasting prayer on the next day. No registration fee is charged from believers who participate in this camp.
Hundreds of churches/families, stirred by the Lord, have accepted and covered the costs of this Prayer Warrior Camp. As of 2026, the cost of successfully running the Prayer Warrior camp is Rs 13 lakh. Between 1000 and 3000 prayer warriors from many parts of India participate in this camp.
The unsaved and sick are allowed to join in the all-night prayer at the Prayer Warrior camp. They pray for the leaders of the nation, for the politicians, and for prayer requests regarding alcohol, beedi, cigarettes, prostitution, bribery, corruption, murder, rape and the abominations that are destroying the nation. In between, there will be new songs, worship, messages, and testimonies.
In short, the testimony of most of those who participated in the camp is that it was "a little piece of heaven". All glory to God.
